Hatten Kolonien eigene Hymnen?

Mich würde mal folgende Frage interessieren: Hatten Kolonien neben den jeweiligen Nationalhymnen des Mutterlandes noch "eigene" Hymnen?

Wieviele lokale Ethnien lebten in einer Kolonie? Wenn du darüber nachdenkst, ist die Frage beantwortet.

Philippinen:

In the first decades of American colonial regime the singing of the anthem was not allowed. Later – in the twenties - the text was translated into the Tagalog and in the English language. The last revision of text was written in 1956 by representatives of the National Language Institute.

Südafrika:

In 1938, the then Prime Minister, decided that 'Die Stem' should be played at the opening of Parliament, together with 'God Save the King'. It was not till May 2 1957, however, that another Prime Minister announced in Parliament that the government had accepted 'Die Stem' as the official National Anthem of South Africa.

Malaysien:

It was not until 1956 that anything concrete was done about the choice of a National Anthem for the then Federation of Malaya. Up to that time, each of the eleven States that made up the Federation had their own State Anthems but there was no single National Anthem or patriotic song of any sort for the whole country.

Indonesien:

Indonesia's National Anthem 'Indonesia Raya' ('Indonesia The Great') was composed in 1928 during the Dutch colonial period, at a time when the Dutch rulers in Indonesia carried out a divide and rule policy which stressed linguistic, ethnic, cultural and religious differences amongst the Indonesian people.

Gibraltar:

This is a British colony and, as such "God Save The Queen" is the official anthem. However, its very lovely local anthem was chosen as a result of a competition and officially adopted on October 18, 1994.

Gibraltar's anthem is a perfect example of what an anthem should be, stirring and simple, while encapulating how natives and the world view the country. As such, Gibraltar's anthem is one of my top favourites.

Also, wie wir sehen, gibt es zwei Varianten kolonialer Hymnen:

1. Die Hymnen in Kolonien, die zur patriotischen Untermauerung des Unabhängigkeitskampf ersonnen wurden (sie waren natürlich bis zur Unabhängigkeit nie offiziell erlaubt!) Beispiele: Indonesien, Philippinen und sämtliche lateinamerikanischen Kolonien

2. Hymnen, die (scheinbar vor allem von den Briten) in ihren Kolonien zugelassen wurden/werden, um die Würde der Kronkolonien und ihren Authoritäten zu wahren. Gibraltar und Malaysien sind da zwei Beispiele.

In den deutschen Kolonien gab es meines Wissens keine eigenen Hymnen - ich lasse da mal Lieder, die einen gewissen "Kultstatus" ereichten, aber nie offizielle Hymnen waren, aussen vor.

Was ist eigentlich eine Hymne?
Wenn es eine Kolonie war, hatte diese einen sogenannten "Mutterstaat" und hatte diese selbstverständlich zu intonieren.
Territorial kann doch jeder singen, was er will. Wie ist das eigentlich mit Australien? Singen die die Hymne von Gross Britanien?
Singen sie nicht. Aber die Königin ist ihr Oberhaupt.
